Does this sound like you?

Perhaps your smile looks fine… but not quite right.

And you feel it. Perhaps:

  • one tooth is slightly shorter — and you notice it all the time
  • the edges are worn — your smile looks "tired"
  • there are gaps between teeth that ruin the overall appearance
  • one tooth is darker
  • old filling margins are visible
  • your teeth are straight after orthodontic treatment, but your smile still doesn't look beautiful
  • in photos you smile less than you'd like — or you hide your teeth

And the smile begins to look neater, fresher and younger — without losing its naturalness.

What is aesthetic filling

What is aesthetic filling?

It is a modern dental technique in which composite material is layered onto the tooth surface, restoring the natural tooth shape, edges, and proportions.

  • No grinding of healthy teeth required
  • Result visible immediately
  • Procedure completed in a single visit
Fears & answers

The most common questions patients have before aesthetic fillings

Most poor-looking fillings appear artificial not because of the material, but because of the technique. I work with a layering method, recreating translucency, the natural play of light, and individual anatomy.

Modern composite materials have excellent colour stability. Like natural teeth, they can shift shade due to coffee, tea, red wine, or smoking. Colour stability is maintained through professional polishing, regular hygiene, and check-up visits.

Aesthetic filling is a durable restoration, but just like a natural tooth, it can be damaged by trauma, hard food, or bruxism. In such cases the restoration can usually be easily adjusted.

Natural appearance is not about "white colour". It is about shade selection tailored to you, translucency, and surface texture. The result is a neater, naturally appearing smile.

That happens when proportion and optics are not respected. A properly executed aesthetic filling blends with the tooth, has no "line", and does not stand out even up close. The goal is that even you cannot see where the work was done.

Aesthetic filling is a non-invasive method: no grinding, the filling is placed only where needed, preserving the maximum amount of natural tooth structure.

The purpose of the consultation is not to sell. It is to answer the question: do you need this at all. If filling is not the best solution — I will not suggest it.

    Polishing & Final Finishing

    • we assess how the teeth and bite have settled
    • additional polishing is carried out
    • fine details are adjusted
Who it suits

Who this solution suits — and who it may not

This solution most often suits those who:

  • want a naturally appearing smile
  • have minor aesthetic issues (uneven edges, gaps, colour differences, old fillings)
  • do not want to grind healthy teeth and are looking for a conservative solution

This solution may not be right if you:

  • want a very white, "Hollywood" smile
  • have major structural damage (in which case other solutions may be needed)
  • are looking for a "once and for life" solution with no maintenance whatsoever
Investment

Investment in a natural smile

This is a solution for those who want to restore their smile without grinding and achieve a natural result. Since every situation is individual, the exact investment depends on the extent of the zone being corrected and the complexity of the aesthetics.

1 tooth from €200–€350
Most commonly corrected zone 6–8 teeth
Average investment €1,500–€2,500

Exact pricing is determined after consultation. Price includes: consultation, planning, layering, and polishing.

If you would like to spread the investment. We understand that this decision requires planning. We can offer a financing solution of up to 72 months — this will be discussed at the consultation.

No. Aesthetic filling is a minimally invasive method: work is carried out within the enamel boundaries, preserving the maximum amount of natural tooth structure.

On average 5–10 years or more. This depends on the bite, load, and care. If needed, the filling can be adjusted without replacing everything from scratch.

Like natural teeth, they can shift shade slightly due to coffee, tea, wine, or smoking. The difference is that the colour can be refreshed during polishing without redoing all the work.

Usually not. Work is done in the surface layers, so anaesthesia is often not even needed. Patients feel only minimal discomfort or none at all. Local anaesthesia is available if required.

Yes, if done correctly. The tooth's anatomy, translucency, and light reflections are recreated. The goal is for the smile to look like yours — just neater.

It is not recommended, which is why planning is important. Whitening does not affect fillings, so whitening is usually done first and then the filling shade is matched. This is discussed at the consultation.

Usually 1–2 visits: one for the filling, the second for a check-up and final polishing. The exact plan depends on the situation.
