Sound familiar?

Maybe your teeth are healthy… but not in the right places.

Teeth straightening is most often chosen by people who notice that:

  • front teeth are crowded or rotated — and it shows in photos
  • there are gaps between teeth that spoil the overall look
  • the bite is uneven, so teeth wear down unevenly
  • teeth have slowly shifted back after braces worn in childhood
  • tooth position needs correcting before veneers or aesthetic fillings

The good news: in most cases tooth position can be corrected without braces — with clear aligners that others barely notice.

What aligner treatment is

What is teeth straightening with clear aligners?

Teeth straightening with clear aligners is orthodontic treatment in which teeth are gradually guided into the correct position using a series of custom-made transparent aligners. Aligners are changed every 1–2 weeks, and the whole treatment is planned on a digital 3D model before it even starts.

  • Nearly invisible — suitable for work and public life
  • Removable for eating and brushing
  • You see the future result in a 3D model before treatment

Fears and answers

The most common doubts before teeth straightening

No. Adult orthodontics is everyday practice today: tooth position can be corrected at any age as long as teeth and gums are healthy. A large share of aligner patients are aged 30–50.

That's exactly why we offer clear aligners — they are almost unnoticeable even in close conversation. Most people around you will never know treatment is under way.

In the first days after a new aligner is fitted you feel slight pressure — a sign the teeth are moving. It passes within a few days and is nowhere near the discomfort of braces.

Depending on the complexity of the correction, treatment takes 6 to 18 months — about 12 on average. A visible change appears after just a few months.

That's why treatment always ends with a retention stage: a custom retention aligner or a fixed retainer keeps the achieved result. It is a standard and essential part of treatment.

Process

How teeth straightening works

  1. 01

    Consultation and 3D scan

The condition of your teeth and bite is assessed and a digital scan is taken — quick and comfortable, no impressions.

  2. 02

    Digital treatment plan

A 3D treatment plan is created: you see how the teeth will move and what the final result will look like before starting.

  3. 03

    Wearing aligners with check-ups

You receive a series of custom-made aligners, changed every 1–2 weeks, with regular progress checks.

  4. 04

    Retention — securing the result

After treatment a retention aligner or fixed retainer is fitted so the teeth stay in their correct position.

There is no age limit for adults — only healthy teeth and gums matter. Children usually start treatment once permanent teeth have erupted (around age 10–12).

In the first days after a new aligner is fitted you may feel slight pressure — this is normal and passes quickly.

Depending on the complexity of the correction — 6 to 18 months, about 12 on average. The exact duration becomes clear once the digital plan is made.

Yes. Modern clear aligners effectively solve most orthodontic problems — from mild to moderate. Whether they suit your case is assessed at the consultation.

Aligners are worn about 22 hours a day — removed only for eating and brushing. The more disciplined you are, the faster the result.

Without retention, teeth tend to drift back, which is why treatment always ends with a retention aligner or a fixed retainer. It is a standard part of treatment.

Sometimes — yes. If teeth are heavily rotated or crowded, correcting their position first makes the aesthetic result more natural and durable, and far less grinding is needed. This is assessed at a joint consultation.
